A repeat client from Chesterfield stopped by our Midlothian store, looking to make some upgrades to her 2015 Toyota Camry. We’d recently added some Blackvue dash cameras to her Honda Fit, and she was happy with the installation quality, so she knew she was in the right place for her next project.
The Toyota Camry is quite popular in our area. While many of them come with a nice OEM LCD screen on the radio, they don’t always include navigation. Luckily, one of our partners offers a navigation add-on for the Toyota Camry stereo. This particular navigation upgrade for the Camry involves taking the factory radio apart and installing a new circuit board into the stereo. That provides the needed gateway for the new navigation to communicate right through the OEM touchscreen.
Since we do a lot of LCD screen replacements on the Toyota Camry, we are well-versed in disassembling the Camry stereo, making this installation a breeze. Now this client has built-in navigation right on her OEM screen as if it came that way from the factory. Since it features iGo navigation, it’s a familiar, easy-to-use interface as well.
