One vehicle that seems to have really taken off in the last few years is the Toyota RAV4. We’ve probably done more remote car starters on RAV4 vehicles this year than any other vehicle, so when a client from Chesterfield set up an appointment for her 2016 RAV4 remote starter, it was certainly no surprise.
Her RAV4 was equipped with the factory push-button start system. Although she could technically add the remote start to her factory fob, she really needed something with better distance capabilities when at work. After going over the various remote options, it looked like the Compustar Slice Jr. 1-button remote start was the best match for her needs.
The Slice Jr. remote system is a long-range, two-way remote start system. The remote is capable of starting the RAV4 from a good distance away: up to 2,500 ft. It also has two-way communication, meaning if you’re too far away to see the vehicle, the remote control will beep at you to confirm the vehicle got your command.
You can see a quick demo of this system in the video below.
Now her RAV4 will be warm and ready to go after a long day at work.
