I had an Avital remote car starter installed in my 2000 Suburban at Audio One on West Broad Street last year, and it has already malfunctioned. When I went to get it fixed, they told me they would have to replace the “brain” of the starter, they left me waiting for 1 1/2 hours when they said they could do the job in 20 minutes, and then never got around to it. I left in a huff.
I want to switch gears now. I want to use my iphone going forward to activate the car starter and want a reliable one. I don’t know if this had anything to do with it, but at Audio One, the used my Suburban FOB as the remote care starter activator, which started the car when I hit the lock button twice.
I would appreciate your getting back to me with respect to my options going forward working with you to have remote car start using our iphones.
