A client from North Chesterfield recently contacted Extreme Audio to inquire about a remote car starter for his wife’s 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. He wanted to give her the remote starter as a holiday gift.
We talked to the client about where she would be using the vehicle to discern how much range she would require from the remote. Taking into account that the client didn’t want another remote on his wife’s keychain, we decided to go with a 3x Lock solution.
We installed a Compustar remote car starter using a T-harness and data integration module. This installation eliminates the need for us to install one of the factory key fobs in the vehicle to make the remote starter work. When the owner wants to start her car, all she has to do is press the lock button on the factory remote three times. Should she decide she needs more range, we can add a DroneMobile smartphone interface.
