A repeat client from Richmond e-mailed us recently about adding a remote car starter to his 2016 Toyota Tacoma. We’d done a bunch of upgrades to the audio system in it before, and now he was tired of getting into a freezing-cold truck in the mornings.
One of the things he really didn’t want was another remote control on his key chain. Since he has the Toyota smart key and wasn’t worried about starting the vehicle from greater distances, he just wanted to add the remote start to the factory key fob. No problem for the techs at Extreme Audio!
We added the remote start to his Tacoma factory key fob, so he can just press the lock button three times in a row to engage the remote start – simple, no frills and economical. Another plus is that with the remote car starters we install, he still can upgrade at any time. Say he changes jobs and then parks a great distance away from his office. He can add a long-range remote or DroneMobile at any time.
