Repeat Richmond Client Adds Dodge Challenger RT CD Player

A couple of months ago, one of our regular clients from Richmond called. She was looking to order a brand-new 2016 Dodge Challenger RT, but it was missing one feature that she still REALLY wanted: a CD player. It seems that Dodge decided that it was time for CDs to be a thing of the past, but she definitely didn’t agree. She knew that Extreme Audio was all about solutions for our clients, and she was right about that.

We knew about a CD player add-on that was available for the 2013+ Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ram, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Durango and Chrysler 300. A company called Brandmotion has taken the OEM Chrysler CD player that used to be an option for these vehicles, and made an interface to tie it right in with the current models. It can be installed in different places – the glove box, center console or under a seat, depending on the vehicle. It pulls right up under the media mode just like any other source, and works exactly the same way as if it came that way from the factory.

A couple months later, her brand-new Challenger was delivered and the installation was done. She was thrilled with the way it worked, and the fact that we didn’t have to “modify” her new car.
