Compustar RF-2W9402-SS Is The Thinnest Remote On The Market

The Slice remote kit includes a pair of 2W940R-SS four-button remote controls the feature up 4,000 feet of range. Having that much range means that you can start your car or truck from almost anywhere in your house, at your office or even from inside the mall. The 2W940R-SS is extremely thin – in fact, it’s only about as thick as four quarters – the remote takes up very little space on your keychain.

Most RF kits include two remotes, but the second remote is never a two-way unit. Having two identical remotes means that different people can use the same vehicle with the same level of communication.

Two-Way Vehicle Communication

The 2W940R-SS is a two-way LED remote. It has five LEDs concealed within the body of the remote. The LEDs illuminate through the front cover in what Compustar calls Ghost LEDs. When you lock, unlock or remote start the vehicle, or pop the trunk, the remote confirms transmission of that command to the vehicle, then confirms execution of the command. As the remote start counts down, four LEDs flash for the first 3 minutes of run time, then three for the next 3 minutes, then two, then one. Finally, the remote starter times out and the vehicle stops. Of course, the Slice remote lets you know when that happens, too!

Maximum Vehicle Compatibility
