We are an Authorized Compustar dealer – one of the very best in the Richmond area. We sell and install hundreds of remote starters every season. In this article we will take a look at the Compustar RF-1WG6 kit.
Simple Remotes Offer Excellent Value
A popular remote package for our Compustar remote car starter and security systems is the RF-1WG6 kit. This kit includes a pair of one-way 1WG6R-AM four-button remote controls, the systems antenna and all the wiring we need to complete the installation. The remotes use AM frequency transmission technology to provide up to 1,000 feet of range.
Four Buttons Make Learning Fast
The 1WG6R-AM has four buttons. The buttons are labeled with icons for the Lock, Unlock, Trunk Release and Remote Start functions. These icons make the learning curve for the new system very easy. If the system you have chosen has auxiliary outputs, you can active them from the remote by pressing the trunk release and start button for 2.5 seconds, then tapping either the Trunk Release or Start button. You can even activate or disable valet mode, horn or siren chirp notifications, and passive arming mode. As you can see, there is much more to these remotes than meets the eye.
Quality Installation and Service
Many of the installation technicians at Extreme Audio have their MECP certification. This advanced training ensures that the techniques and processes they use to install your remote starter meet the highest of standards in the industry. For instance, we secure each and every wire electrically and mechanically to provide years, if not decades, of reliable performance.
