BMW 530i The small form factor of the Audiofrog OE tweeter allowed easy fitment in the factory sail panel. Our technicians were thankful that the factory sail panel was removable for the tweeter installation. We fabricated a custom plastic mounting bracket for the midrange speaker. A foam ring was added to help couple the output of the midrange to the vehicle cabin. A custom lasered logo plate was added to the distribution block. The amplifiers were mounted so that the factory electronics were still accessible. A JL Audio DRC-205 was placed within easy reach of the driver. The new subwoofer system produces lots of bass while retaining most of the trunk space. An acrylic window and beauty ring round off the amplifier installation. The client still retains almost all of their trunk space. Acrylic accent pieces were added to the enclosure.
