A repeat client from Glen Allen, Virginia, came to Extreme Audio looking to upgrade his 2013 Polaris RZR900 audio system. He had an existing system in the vehicle, but was unhappy with its performance. When he was off-road, having the time of his life, he felt that the current audio system could not keep up. He wanted more output and better sound quality. Our team spent significant time with the client on understanding how he used the vehicle and his goals for the upgrades. We also looked over the vehicle extensively so we could determine the best course of action. Once we gathered all of our information, we gave the client a proposal that we thought would best fit his needs. He liked our idea, and we set an installation appointment.
Wetsounds Gear For the Rough Life Of This Polaris RZR900 Audio Enhancement
Right out of the gate, anyone who has driven a side-by-side knows that these things get abused. It is all about pedal to the metal, screaming engine, jumping, jarring, dirt, mud and anything else you can throw at it. If you are going to design an audio system for one, it has to take lots of abuse. And we mean lots. What this meant to the team at Extreme Audio is that the equipment we would choose for this client had to be reliable in such extreme environments, so we went to Wetsounds. The Wetsounds product was initially used in boats, but once people started to realize how durable it was, it made its way into the side-by-side market.
Wetsounds REV Speaker Assembly For Incredible Loud And Clear Music
This guy already had a system, but wanted more, so we went right to the top and chose the Wetsounds REV410 speaker assembly. This is the loudest, clearest speaker you have ever heard. It was designed to deliver great-sounding music to people 100 feet off a boat, so you know it will deliver in a side-by-side. Our team securely attached the speaker assembly to the existing roll bar. For added flair, we installed Wetsounds RGB rings around the speakers, so they can glow in a wide range of colors, truly setting off the RZR as darkness falls. The controller for the RGB rings can even be set to work with the music for added effects.
Wetsounds Amplifier Drives Speakers With Loads Of Clean Power
Since the client wanted to really jam, we knew we had to feed the speakers a lot of power. We went back to Wetsounds, choosing the HT2 amplifier, which supplies more than 575 watts of clean power to the speaker system. We made a custom amp plate to hold the amplifier between the front seats, giving the Polaris another touch of class.
Wetsounds Bluetooth Volume Control Let’s Client Listen To His Music From Most Any Device
To get sound to this awesome stereo system, we installed a Wetsounds Bluetooth volume control. Now the client can easily stream music wirelessly to his new audio system while controlling track, pause and volume all from one knob.
When the client came to pick up his UTV, he was thrilled. Everything from the attention to detail in the install to the incredible sound output and clarity, had him smiling from ear to ear.
