Moseley Client Adds CarPlay to 2014 Audi RS7 Sedan

A client from Moseley, who found us on Google, called Extreme Audio to ask about adding Apple CarPlay to his 2014 Audi RS7 sedan. He wanted a way to use the Waze navigation application and voice commands to make phone calls and check text messages. After confirming compatibility with the year, make, model and trim level of his vehicle, we let him know that we had an interface from a company called ZZ-2 that would deliver exactly what he wanted. He was thrilled and scheduled an installation appointment with our team.

Add-on Audi CarPlay Solution

When it arrived at our shop, we pulled the big Audi into our installation bay and set to work integrating the ZZ-2 IT-MMI3G-A6/A7-Wv2 CarPlay and Android Auto interface into the vehicle. We had to access the display and infotainment system control modules to complete the integration, so the process took some time. With that said, all the harnessing is vehicle-specific, so no permanent modifications were required.

This interface includes WiFi connectivity so the client can connect his phone wirelessly to the interface. Each time he gets into the car, the connection is established automatically without plugging in any cables. He was thrilled with how it worked and liked that it included Android Auto if he decided to change phone manufacturers.
