A repeat client from Moseley, VA, stopped by our Midlothian location recently with his new 2018 Mazda3. We had installed a remote start in his previous Acura, and he wanted to do the same to the Mazda.
The Mazda was a bit different in that it had a manual transmission. Thankfully, the Compustar systems we offer have a provision for safely remote starting vehicles with manual transmissions (you can read about that here).
He was happy with the long-range capabilities of his older remote start, but wanted to have the most range available. The Compustar T12 remote has up to a 3-mile range capability! With that kind of range, he’s all set when inside large buildings or in locations with significant interference. The remote also offers two-way communication, so he always knows whether the vehicle got the signal to start or not. You can check out the basic features in the video.
To top it all off, we also added Compustar Dronemobile smartphone control, to give him virtually unlimited range capabilities. As long as you and your vehicle are in a cellular data area, the system will work. Great for people who park in parking garages or work at hospitals, schools, etc.
