Gaston Client Travels To Extreme Audio For Lexus ES350 Remote Starter

We received a call recently from a client all the way in Gaston, NC, who was looking to have some work done to his 2015 Lexus ES350. He’d been recommended to us for a remote start system installation and had no problem making the hour-and-a-half drive to make sure it was done right.

Ironically enough, the Lexus already had a factory remote start. Using the Enform system, you can remote start the car with the OEM fob by pressing Lock three times in a row, as well as start it from your phone. The issue was that he didn’t want or need the cellphone feature, but was being charged $249 a year for the service to enable the starting from the key fob.

We were able to add  remote start to his factory fob separate from the Enform system. As you can see in the video below, simply pressing Lock-Unlock-Lock starts and stops the vehicle. Now he has remote start capabilities for the life of the vehicle, with no yearly fees. As you can see in the picture, the new remote start system is small, and installed in a clean and low-profile manor – no mess of wires behind the dash making your Lexus service center nervous and causing warranty issues.
