Dodge Ram 2500 Lighting Upgrades Enhance Driving Safety

A new client from Pennsylvania was recently in town on a long job, and stopped by with his 2015 Ram 2500. He’d done some previous upgrades with Rigid LEDs, but was less than thrilled with the OEM Ram headlights and fog lights. He wanted better visibility, but also the same white light that his LED bars put out.

We were happy to set him up with all-new bulbs from GTR Lighting. We installed 55 watt hylux HID ballasts and bulbs for the low beams, to help get the maximum light out of the projector lenses possible. We upgraded the high beams to 35 watt hylux HID ballasts and bulbs, and did a more-basic set of LEDs to change the color of the fog lights to match. Now he can really see on those back-country roads at night.

He was so happy with the lighting upgrades, he returned the following week to have a new set of Rigid Industries D Series Dually lights added to the rear bumper. Now, when he’s backing up and needs more light, or if he’s working behind the truck, he has plenty of output to light things up.
