Thanks Brian for a great experience. Very professional and knowledgeable. Expert installation and now I can see at night with the HID/LED headlight upgrade.
I just spent a great day with Mike & Kevin at the Midlothian location of Extreme Audio. We have been planning the install of a Clarion sound system in our 1929 Model A street rod for many months, and I drove about two hours to get to their shop. This shop is the cleanest, best equipped, well lit and comfortable shop I have ever been involved with! Kevin is an expert technician, has nothing but the best tools and knows how to use them. The installation was a full custom, very complicated process, and it looks to be a factory option! We have owned this street rod for over 41 years, and look forward to enjoying the system for many cruises, rod runs and car shows in the future. These guys are the best of the best!
I had a great time dealing with these guys!!
I am always intimidated going to these type of shops because I really do not know much about cars and their upgrades. But, they always treat me very well and answer all my questions politely. My dad who is 85 and from Argentina has also has had work done to his car here is very comfortable with these guys.
Hats off to Rene who gave me the best price in town for window tints in GR!!!
Extreme Audio helped modernize my car and I am extremely pleased with the results. My car, a 2004, was manufactured prior to the technology revolution. An AM/FM/CD factory unit was it, no backup camera, satellite radio, navigation, hand-free calling, Bluetooth or anything else. Due to performance upgrades sound levels in the car made normal conversation challenging. Kevin started by removing all of the interior and installing Extreme Dynamat Xtreme & Dynamat Dynaliner sound proofing and heat shielding throughout the car. The difference this made is amazing, the car is quieter and a lot more pleasurable to ride in, now my passenger and I can talk normally. Next he installed low profile cameras front and back, no more worrying about damaging the car when pulling into a parking space since the car’s nose sits low. A Kenwood DNX574S unit was installed as well as a SiriusXM receiver/antenna and interior microphone for hands free calling and voice commands (Apple CarPlay). All of these changes combined with a new dash and console have transformed the car, it’s feels like I got a new car. I highly recommend Extreme Audio for their friendly service, knowledge and professionalism. Thank you Mike and Kevin, outstanding job!
Extreme Audio just installed a sound system in my truck. This is the third truck I've taken to them. I live almost two hours away - it is well worth the drive. They are very professional and their work is impeccable! A company that takes pride in their work is a very, very rare find these days. They are a 10. You will not be disappointed!
Went to the experts in Charlottesville to have Infinity Perfect Series mid-range speakers installed in my 2018 Colorado Z71. The installer insisted I needed pods as the mids wouldn't fit in the factory location in the dash. The install was both sloppy and ugly.
Made an appointment with the Extreme Audio guys to get a second opinion. Once there, the installer called me to the back and asked if I wanted him to install the speakers in the factory location right then instead of coming back. He did and he saved the look of my brand new truck. Every time I saw those pods I cringed. Now my new stereo sounds great and disappears into the truck. Awesome job. I had to buy a new dash top, $127 from Chevrolet, brought it to the Extreme Audio store and they installed it in no time for a great price. I wish I could provide before and after pics here to show the difference. Thanks to Extreme Audio on Hull Street for saving my Colorado, cause I don't wanna drive no ugly truck.
I've always wanted to retrofit my SUV with a remote start and, depending on the season, have the interior environment toasty warm or comfortably cool when I get in it. I stared out at the Yukon from my hotel window last month, snow all over it, thinking "well, I'm back in the east coast," and I decided to get this upgrade retrofit done.
Last week I found Extreme Audio 20 on a Google search, and when I emailed Greg with questions, I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We emailed back and forth, talked on the 'phone, and I made an appointment for the upgrade next Wednesday. He recommended I stop by if I were in town before then, so I'd have a clear picture and demonstration of the remote start's capabilities.
So there I was yesterday afternoon under a cold, graying sky, with the forecast threatening 6-8 inches overnight and a week of sobering conditions. Greg was in the middle of briefing a customer on the different options for an audio system, and it was clear how good he is at focusing his attention on the customer, explaining things fully, and answering any questions completely.
When we got to talk, he immediately recalled our email exchanges from his mental rolodex, and as it happened--three hours before closing--Chris, the installer, was done for the day. Greg asked him if he'd be okay with handling the upgrade right then, and presto! I had a relaxing early dinner at the Chinese restaurant nearby while Chris made it happen. 15 minutes before closing, I was back in the store, and my SUV was ready--remote start with 2-way LED confirmation, 3000 ft range, etc.,etc. As Greg demonstrated the capabilities and how to set it up for winter or summer, it began to snow. I'm happy as a clam, and drove away in my warm SUV, smiling at the prospect of the approaching winter storm , sitting on my heated seat with a big smile on my face, happy to have my newest crutch to my laziness, and a cool electronic gadget that will bring me the height of convenience.
Greg hooked me up with a subwoofer. I would recommend Extreme Audio to anyone great service and awesome customer service. they will help you out
Mike and Greg are exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of mobile audio, and I will recommend them first and foremost to anyone I overhear discussing car audio equipment in the future. Kevin is also the cleanest installer of car audio equipment that I have ever seen and I have been around 100's of different car audio applications ranging from mild to wild in the past 20+.
I went with the GB10 and GB60 components running them active with the Arc Audio 1200/6 amp. I also have a single GB12D2 sub in a sealed box in the back of my hatch. No processor yet, that's for later, along with the GB25 to make it a 3-way up front. I can't wait for that. If you're on the fence about the AF GB stuff, don't sit on it long, you will be missing out and wasting your time.
I've realized these guys can do ANYTHING you want as long as it looks clean and produces exceptional sound quality. What I liked most about the service is that they were patient enough to answer my questions and to steer me in the direction that made the most sense for my particular system requirements--instead of just what would make them the most coin... respect.
If I had one negative thing to say it would be having the ability to choose from more brand options, but then again, dealers are limited to what they can choose and talk about when they commit to a certain brand.. (or so I'm guessing). Over all, if you want to upgrade the sound of your vehicle (or get some of the high-end 3M window tint) and you WANT THE INSTALL DONE RIGHT, then do not hesitate to stop in to one of the two Extreme Audio locations!
5 stars is not enough for these guys!!! My experience was top notch!!
I would recommend them to anyone......
