A client from Chesterfield, Virginia, recently contacted Extreme Audio through our website, looking to make some significant audio upgrades to his 2015 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra. He’d been talking to the Harley dealer about stepping up the audio on the Tri Glide, but the $4,500 price tag for the Boom Audio upgrades was not something he was looking to spend! He’d read some of our articles about the newer 2014+ Road Glide and Street Glides, and he knew the factory Harley stereos were something we were well-versed in, so we set up a time for him to swing by and go over some options.
After letting him take a listen to some of the options on our display Harley setup, we had a great idea for what he was looking for. He went with one of our most popular packages, using Arc Audio Moto series equipment. The Moto series consists of amplifier and speaker upgrades specifically made for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The Moto600.4 amplifier that we put in the fairing is the most powerful amplifier you can easily drop into the fairing of a Harley-Davidson. It delivers 4 x 150 watts of pure clean power to the four Arc Moto602 6 1/2″ speakers we installed in the front and back. Combine that equipment with a thorough analysis of the signal coming out of the factory stereo (seen in the picture up top), and we knew exactly how to tune the amplifier to make it sound loud and clean when the client is going down the highway. And at almost half the price of the Harley Boom Audio upgrade!
