A client from Chesterfield recently dropped by Extreme Audio to inquire about a remote car starter for his 2017 Kia Soul. We had installed a starter on his previous vehicle, and he missed having it on this one. Knowing the ins and outs of owning a starter, the client wasn’t extremely concerned with range and didn’t want a second remote control on his keychain. We designed a remote starter solution that used his factory remote.
The Compustar remote starter system we installed includes a data integration module that monitors the factory keyless entry system. The module detects when the lock button on the remote has been pressed three times in short succession and initiates the remote starter sequence.
Should the client find himself in a situation where he needs additional range, we can add a RF remote kit to the starter or a DroneMobile telematics system. The DroneMobile lets him control the starter with his smartphone.
If you are interested in a remote car starter for your vehicle, drop by Extreme Audio in Mechanicsville or Midlothian and speak with a member of our sales team. You can also reach us by e-mail using our online contact form.
