There’s no question that remote car starters are among the most popular items we carry in the early winter months. When a new client from Chesterfield walked in the door on a cold morning looking to add a remote start to his 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we were certainly not surprised.
We add remote start systems to Hyundai vehicles all the time. One of the things we knew from doing so many is that the factory keyless entry system on a Hyundai doesn’t stay “active” when the vehicle is running. That means any time you start your Hyundai with the key, the factory keyless entry shuts off. Knowing this, we set up the client with a new Compustar system that includes the keyless entry functions in the new remote control.
Another thing we know about remote car starters is that the installation quality means everything. You can have the best system in the world, but if it’s installed incorrectly, it will just be a big piece of junk. We pay careful attention to all the small stuff with our remote start installations. We solder all critical data wires, routed wires neatly so they don’t interfere with factory components, and wrap everything neatly with factory-style cloth tape. We don’t leave any big piles of multi-colored wires that fall out of your dash while you’re driving down the road.
Now this client is all ready for winter with a remote start keyless entry system that will warm things right up in the mornings.
