This client came to us from Mechanicsville looking for a BMW backup camera solution 2014 X3. Extreme Audio goes to great lengths to make sure we partner with vendors that have the solutions we need. Nav-TV out of Florida is one of those vendors. They specialize in integrating aftermarket electronics to factory OEM systems. They make a great interface for integrating a new camera into the factory screen already in this BMW. The interface automatically switches to the camera when you put it in reverse, just like it would if it had been factory equipped. Another great feature is that as you turn the wheel while in reverse, the dynamic reverse lines curve with you!
The camera we installed was an OEM style mount that went under the hatch lip. As you can see in the pictures, you can hardly tell the camera is there! Looking to improve your safety, but don’t want crazy screens hanging from your dash or windshield? We’ve got you covered! I have a 2000 BMW M Roadster that has the original factory stereo and speakers (well, I bought it used so I can’t be sure but I’m pretty sure it’s all original). DVD’s are inserted into a box in the trunk but are controlled from stereo along with radio.
I am wondering what options are available to replace the stereo with a new unit that has a connector for an iPod or cell phone and possibly Sirius. Also, I would like to replace the speakers.
Thank you,
Terry
