A local body shop owner dropped by Extreme Audio in search of a late holiday present for herself. She wanted to add a remote car starter to her 2015 Audi Q7 SUV. We’ve worked on the Q7 before and know that the Python 4816P 1-button, two-way remote starter is the perfect solution for this vehicle.
The Python system provides up to 1 mile of range from the remote controls. To increase this, we added a SmartStart telematics system to give her effectively unlimited range. SmartStart uses a cellular-based communication device that connects to the Python starter to receive commands from the client’s smartphone. She can send lock, unlock and remote start commands from anywhere she has data access.
While we had the Audi in the shop, we installed a set of WeatherTech FloorLiners to keep the carpet looking clean and new. We also installed a set of WeatherTech window deflectors so she can vent her windows without needing to worry about rain getting into the vehicle.
The client was very happy with her purchase and anxious to try out the starter.

Hello. I’ve been trying to find a shop or solution to install remote start on my 2015 Q7 TFSI and everyone keeps telling me it’s not possible because there’s no control module for it. Your video here proves that is incorrect. I’m not in VA, but could you possibly tell me what I’m missing?
