A new client from Mosely, VA, came to see us recently with his 2014 Yamaha Viking UTV. He was looking to add LED rock lights that he’d purchased from Infinite Offroad in the wheel wells, and the overhead to light up the interior.
After checking out the lights, where they would be located and how the wiring would all be routed through the Viking, we decided it was a project we would take on. Wire paths and durability are certainly the number-one priority on a UTV. Considering they are more often on rough terrain or buried in mud than anything else, wires and lights have to be installed so they can’t be easily snagged and torn off. We bolted on all the lights with stainless nuts and bolts, and loomed and routed the wires through tubing and behind panels to keep them safe.
As you can see in the pictures, for five small LED pods, these things are bright! We were so impressed with how solidly they were built and their light output, we decided to become a dealer ourselves.
